The ‘Words of Mercy’ series is my attempt to reflect lightly and openly upon some of the many beautifully encouraging words we find in the Bible.

I hope this ‘Throne’ limited edition print would serve as an encouragement to anyone who finds it hard to engage with God, whether that’s because of a sense of unworthiness, or because of the courage it takes to allow God into our mess, or because of an apprehension about what God is truly like. But being in God’s presence is not a position we can earn for ourselves, nor is it something we can undo by our shortcomings. We can find mercy and grace as we kneel before Him.
